To encourage success, challenge and development outside of the classroom, Campbells Bay School also has:
- gymnastics, with a large team participating in the North Shore Gymnastics Festival. We have won this festival more than 10 times!
- miniball (a modified version of basketball for children) teams
- netball teams
- hockey teams
- soccer teams
- rugby teams
- a Waterwise programme promoting kayaking, yachting and water safety
- a number of other sports and clubs
Chess Club takes place at lunchtime every Tuesday. Children can register using the form below, with fees to be sent to the school office.
We are fortunate to have the coaching and guidance of Leonad McLaren, who played chess at a competitive level for many years. The skill level of our players ranges from advanced players to beginners, and children have the opportunity to learn the basics of the game before putting their abilities to the test representing the school at interschool competitions.
Kia ora! Haere mai!
