Learning Hub/Library

This facility is a wonderful resource and acts as a central hub for the entire school. It is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, during term time. All children must bring a book bag in order to borrow books from the library.

In May 2015 the re-modelled library learning hub was opened by Mrs Betty Gilderdale (NZOM). Extensive construction during the first term has resulted in a transformed area where students can work.

The hub features an improved lay out of books, a studio for recording, a performing area and a ‘hui pit’ where students can read or use Lego as well as wonderful ‘nooks’ where they can read in peace.

The library learning hub is a Campbells Bay School Board of Trustees project with supplementary funding from the Ministry of Education.
